Has anyone managed to inrease their rating yet?

I have spent some time in Beta 2 now, have about 250 kills, done a ton of missions and still I'm rated Harmless. :S

Does anyone know what it takes to increase your rating?

Unknown at this time. I suspect the reputation and Elite rating systems are just placeholder atm. The actual feature has been introduced into the game but has not been fully implemented or enabled in this version of Beta due to other mechanics still missing, not turned on or otherwise broken.

Don't know if its working or what the ranks are at, but here's the ranks from Elite 2 for reference, though bear in mind Elite 2 had perma death, so it was much harder to get to these ranks, I expect the no. of kills required to be much higher in ED because ED is no death easy mode.
