Has anyone tried the Beta in Proton?

I really wanna play this game, but I am hesitant about buying it. The big question is has anyone tried it in steam proton? If so what's the success? I don't really want frontier to release it with a Linux Native version, just it work great in Proton would be great.

The beta is not out yet, it is released on the 24th September

Denovo does not work on linux.<Deleted Wrong Forums, going on the forums when sleep deprived is apparently a really bad idea...>
Apparently Planet coaster is working in liunx now as of like 20 days ago so there is no reason to expect this new game will not.

Elite launches differently to other frontier games as PC and JWE don't have their own launcher, so may not have the same issue
