If you want to look at your right wing, move your head a little less. Are you sure you've got a proper Track IR?

Ah, all I meant was that if you turn your head to one side and don't move your eyes you would be looking away from the monitor slightly. But I guess that depends how big your monitor is and how far away you are sitting from it. Yes. it's a TrackIR 4.
Right. You may have to calibrate it a bit for your own tastes but essentially you move your head a little bit and it turns the in game head a lot. I do know a few people who got sick from using it but that's because they were drunk too. It takes a bit getting used to but not very long.People who never used it never seem to really get it.
Track IR works great and you dont have to worry about your eyes going off yhe screen.
It becomes 2nd nature pretty quick.
The head motion is nit 1:1.
If you turn your head 20 degree for example, it will turn 90 in the game for example. Or more depending on your sensitivity. And since all the action is on the screen you will naturally keep your eyes in the monitor.
Used it for as long as it exsists.
It actually puts your head into the game.
That TrackIR looks like a recipe for eye strain. You turn your head to look sideways, but then have to look back with your eyes in the opposite direction to actually see what's on your screen.
I'd rather stick with my multi-monitor setup to be honest.

I just wanted to put in my vote for TrackIR being a must.
After using one for years in flight sims, the amount of Situational Awareness the TrackIR brings is unbeatable.
And once you get past the first hour of use, the TrackIR become so natural that any sim that doesn't support it makes you feel locked in a small box with a hole cut in the front.
