Welp... They've obviously sold Elite to Microsoft.

Weird they didn't bother with a store email or tweet, but I believe they are doing like a 'Dry January' / Veganuary, but for socials (Antisocialanuary?)![]()
They tried, but MS wanted ship interiors so they walked awayWelp... They've obviously sold Elite to Microsoft.
But did they use the word 'promise'?[...] I'm willing to bet they won't even implement the offline mode they promised when the game was launched.
I think you may want to fix your post... that line isn't from me.meanwhile i hope this will come true. The professionality could only improve from handing over Elite from Frontier to Microsoft. Looks what they are doing with the Flightsimulator.
I hear you, and I'm quite worried as well. But on the other hand I hope that the "review" will come to the conclusion that they have to step up their game and stop treating ED as the red headed stepchild like they have over the past few years.Normally I'm not one of these #DOOM people but I am worried.
It's the 'Reviewing the future of the Elite: Dangerous Franchise' line that got me from FDev stockbroker. Add to that;-,
It makes me wonder if we're looking at the game being put into maintenance mode, which will probably mean finally sunset before the end of the year. You only have to look at the features they've launched and then let to stagnate because no one played them (mostly because they weren't implemented properly) to know they will not follow through on a project if they don't think its worth it.
- The company has lost 1.7 in the last six months and I hate to see what that's going to be for the whole year.
- The radio silence from the CMs.
- No new cosmetics in the store / no news letter.
- Obviously no news about Updates 10, 11 or consoles.
I do hope I'm wrong, I mean the number of steam players are up, the updates have put the game in a much better place than it was on release and thankfully the plot is still going strong. However, I've been involved in too many MMOs being sunset that I can see the pattern. (Practically following SOE's 'How to shut down a MMO' handbook). I'm willing to bet they won't even implement the offline mode they promised when the game was launched.
OI, I was a red-head step-child... I resent you implicationI hear you, and I'm quite worried as well. Why is the Panther Clipper so low on your want haz list that you don't nominate me ??Can I nominate a few names to flesh out the team?
Bottom Hat to assure that there is a lot of stuphz worthz hazzing.
Leo to hand out eggs in trying times.
Robert to patiently explain the modes and why open only is impossible.
Ratcatcher to be a voice of reason in this age of doom.
This is a nice paint, butYou mean other than the new cosmetics they added?

I would say though that this forums role is to deliver patch notes and livestream announcements. In KS days it contained the audience but today its just crazy KS oldsters and Oscar Dustbin Nutters.Normally I'm not one of these #DOOM people but I am worried.
