Help! I can't play. :(

Hello all, I purchased Elite Dangerous back in 2015 but haven't played it much until recently. Everything was working fine until I decided to buy Horizons. Once I bought Horizon, the launcher says I need to update the game and then immediately closes, but there is no update available. I tried running the game directly but I get an in-game message stating the same thing. I tried reverting back to the base game, but it will only allow me to play a demo if I do that. I added my Horizon key on the Frontier site, but it won't allow me to add the key for the base game. Also, I tried unlinking and relinking my Steam account and I cant. It won't redirect me to the approval site. And when I try logging in with my Frontier account it tells me to purchase the game. Help! What am I missing? This has been going on for days and I really want to play. Ive yet to hear back from customer support.
