Help Needed To Set Up Quest 2

I'm new to VR and can't get ED Odyssey to use my headset as a screen.
Could someone who knows what they're doing give me a list of instructions please?
(I also have the link cable).

I have tried to get this thing going with no luck, so before I cause any damage Im asking Is there a setup guide? Step by step 'For Dummies' version preferred. I dont think Im a computer moron, but that may be the problem.... I have the Quest2 and link cable Ryzen 5 3600 32GB Mem RTX 3060
