First post here, hello everyone.

Old and new Elite player, had the original BBC 32k Elite since 84 (I was six, aaaah the memories etc etc), and been thoroughly enjoying Elite Dangerous since Gamma, Kickstarter was a no-brainer for me. Mostly a PC gamer over the years but kinda skipped the later Elite variants between these two.

Happy and excited to be here with fellow Elite fans (and not at work :D) on launch day!

Thanks everyone, so far this game is great. @MaccGyver agreed heheh but I'll be sure to say hello if it does happen!

Glad there was no wipe for launch, as it meant I could ditch the Eagle for a Viper, now packing a punch after a few upgrades...nothing like weaving through a resource extraction zone on the hunt...

Getting my hands on a Cobra will be a bit more of a challenge!
