I'd hugely appreciate it if anyone could let me know if this will run the game!

Many thanks for any help,

James

1gb RAM and integrated graphics card, sounds like a no go.

Minimum system reqs from official site:

  • Quad Core CPU ( 4 x 2Ghz is a reasonable minimum)
  • 4 GB System RAM (more is always better)
  • DX 10 hardware GPU with 1GB video ram

You can usually play a game if you have lower than recommended minimum rig but yours is just too old... 1gb of RAM won't cut it, sorry to say :/. You can always try but I doubt you'd get it running with anything resembling a playable frame rate.

Hi ziphnor, thank you for your reply, its about 5 years old I guess, I don't know the answer to what you're asking (how can I tell?) although it says I've got 1.4 GB free on my S Drive? Thanks again for any help/advice

Ok thanks Werppa, really appreciate your feedback! I'll keep an eye open for the required spec when replacement time comes..!

Hi Jamzee, sorry but it doesn't look like your laptop would run the game.

It's not got a powerful enough processor (it's only dual core and not quad core as per the minimum spec) or graphics processing and it's not got enough system Ram.

Hi Hap, thank you for your message and info, hugely appreciate it, I'll make a bit of this for when upgrade time comes! Hope you're enjoying the game,
James

Actually, myself and a family member are running the game on the following at medium settings.

Pentium Dual-Core CPU E6500 2.93GHz
8Gb Ram
2Gb Zotac 650 Ti
Windows 7 64 Bit

As we vsync and frame limited to 60, the lowest FPS I've seen so far using the in-game monitor is 32FPS whilst flying around an asteroid field with a lot of combat going on and is smoother than some games that are much older. That being said, best you get something nice and powerful for the future DLC :)

Well the 8gb RAM helps, 8x more than the OP has :p. It's kinda weird that quad core is recommended minimum for CPUs though, you'd think powerful enough dual core is enough

Some one the other day had this running on XP.....Cant find the thread but it just shouldn't work on XP...and I think it only had a gig of ram
If it did then anything is a possibility ..

Like me, your dual core and video just isn't fast enough. My gateway nv85 is just too old. it runs nothing releated to the game or the training sessions. I am in the process of building my own:

This should give me the horsepower for several more years.
