I have taken a mission to retrieve an item on the settlement grounds of a base. Is there a way to do this without having to cover every part of the grounds trying to find a locker. ie like a pointer showing where it is.

Go to a terminal. Look up where the locker/container is. Bookmark in the terminal. Walk to it now it is displayed on the compass.

Pray that it's not bugged and asking you to find a container that doesn't exist.
