Elite Dangerous coming back to Gamepass on May 12th 2026.

Hilarious. Bringing a dead game (Yes. Dead.) to Gamepass for what?

It's still no doubt going to be Legacy Servers. So why bother bringing it back to Gamepass?

Because the game pass is also available for PC which will include EDH 4.0

Not really, still a massive game with lots to do. Plenty of new players discovering a wonderful game, glad to see it still being populated even after support was dropped.

Wishful thinking, but it may also give more credence to coming back to the more recent or potentially next-gen consoles. With its current capabilities on Xbox One and PS4. Stands to reason that SOME things could still be done for Series X and PS5. Odyssey was hell on PC, but maybe we don't need Odyssey, unfortunately.

We've got the Legacy Universe, we won't get anything else.
My suggestion would be to enjoy the game on Console, my favourite mode is BGS which has been ruined on Live anyway, the game was at its peak in 2022 when the spilt happened.
