HMD Image Quality

Agreed the order I use is simply.

- Start the debug tool
- Set the pixel density to 2.0 (or whatever)
- Start the Oculus home
- Start Elite

Simple as that really. In ED 2.2 I no longer need to have the debug tool to get the same result.

I use 2 x TX 980Ti cards in SLI and get great results from the following settings...

SS - 1.5
HMD Image Quality - 2.0
Shadow Quality - Medium
Ambient Occlusion - Medium

Everthing else on either high or ultra (top setting)

Is SLI even supported? The last time I tried using 2 x 980s in SLI I had more problems with performance that just a single card.

How in the world can you possibly play with these settings?? :/

I have two G1 980 Tis also in SLI, with an i7 4790k and the MAX I can run it without it absolutely crapping itself is SS off and HMDIQ @ 1.5.
Having both SS and HMDIQ on renders the game unplayable and the stuttering/tearing is insane, not to mention constant black flickering.
Having SS off and HMDIQ on 2.0 also renders the game unplayable, with massive stuttering every time something new appears on the screen.

SLI maybe a problem for you (it is not supported yet in VR). But I agree that those settings are insane and have no idea how they run it.
