It would be great if the snow could stay on the ground and trees but with a blue sky. So it snows but the snow doesn't disappear when it stops. I'd love to build zoos with crisp cold sunny winter days. Nordic zoos were my favourite in ZT2 and it was often a struggle to create a realistic snowy landscape.
You will be able to do this. Place coolers down to make the area around them cold. Then place the terrain: snow And there you have it! It sounds like you'll have a gorgeous zoo.

But presumably the snow won’t stay on the trees and buildings etc as it looks like it will when it’s actually snowing in game.
Maybe it will if you raise the coolers and hide them in the eaves of the buildings or in the trunks of the trees. It will be interesting to see if it works when the game comes out.
Seeing as there are different biomes for the zoo's it may well be possible to have one that has snow a lot of the time if you choose one from a cold country
