Some of the things that I experienced that would be nice to see implemented her, and do hope that you might consider them.
Filters.
Like all shopping websites, filters are hugely important and if you are going to include more details than you have now, the scrolling bars will become unwieldy. Some simple tag filters would help that remain after searching so you can quickly alter between the same theme, or find aspects based on color. And maybe a way for players to give props and objects a custome tag.
Terrain earth color choices while playing.
I worked on a Grand Canyon city and found that none of the earth colors really suited the setting, or I wanted a single granite cliff face in your game, but simply couldn't do it. Like your current selections of rocks, it would be quite nice if we could spraypaint textures onto surfaces so they can appear as a specific style. Sandstone buttes, Limestone cliffs, Granite outcrops, Muddy hills. This would be helpful with having different grasses beyond suburban green, like western yellow, or sandy beaches, etc.
Remove snapping height limitations
One of the things I think will help in design is if you could raise and lower buildings or objects without snapping to predetermined heights, like when applying wall decorations, trees, etc. so that they can lay on or in the ground as needed to suit the desired look.
Square path choice
Yes, the curving paths are beautiful, but squared paths would be nice to have too please. Also, can you allow plazas instead of 10 sized paths? Would love a nice squared area that doesn't require planters to cover up the space between parallel pathways.
Scaleable vegetation
While making a wooded park, I found that I would really like to be able to scale the tree or bush I was placing to fit the scene. Can you add an ingame scaling of scenery? Something like pgUp or pgDwn to cycle through the same item but with varied sizes of that item?
Can wait for the next release of content; and when are the logrides coming out? Not soon enough I say!
Wonderful game, thank you for making something we both really care about.
