I've been playing the beta with no real trouble until now. I just updated with #6 and I can't even launch the game?! I get an inescapable black screen when trying to launch the beta, and now same when trying to launch the alpha. Anyone else? I wish I was more computer savvy...

My what a beautiful name you have there I'm not sure what you mean by Alpha, but I did have the same trouble launching the main game last week when I was trying to get on for the livestream. I had to restart my computer twice and then it just started working again and I haven't had any issues since. I can't explain why it did it, but it may be worth trying to shut down (not restart) your PC and see if that helps.

Yes sorry I did mean the main (non-horizons) game. In fact, my problems seem to be getting worse! Screen keeps freaking out momentarily then I get the 'display driver failed and recovered' pop-up... Wish me luck fellas.

You can get some truly awesome in-game screenshots now. You just won't be able to achieve the proximity of bodies that is in that image/video.

They could save themselves a whole lot of bother by just taking out that whole section of code that controls the fade out. Really. All of it. Nice and easy.

Allow Commanders to resurrect at other space stations if they last docked at a planet port and their current session does not have access to Horizons

How would your current session not have access to Horizons if you are able to access the commander who had landed on a planet?
