yes a few more days wont be so bad. i really respect the efforts they made to keep us informed. thanks for that. nothing worse than sitting around all day for a game thats not coming yet. kudos to them

What's the point in ADVERTISING a release date of 24-11-15 and charging an extra £10 to play the beta on that date, then delaying it less than 2 hours before the release!!!
NOT VERY GOOD.... And I'm miffed because I cleared my diary, wife and kids to give me all of Tues, Wed & Thurs (day & night) to play the damn thing. It's a VERY good job that I'm hooked on Elite-D and can't wait for Horizons. But, It's still NOT a good PR move from yourselves............................. blah blah blah!!!!!

At least it's only a few days (allbeit, probably a week or more before I can organize a decent run of it). But I'm still not happy, especially after paying extra to play it on the 24th.

One extra point, no-one has stated how long the beta is to last. And, I'll tell you this, if it turns out to only be until the weekend or something stupid like that, then I'd go from being miffed, to VERY VERY MIFFED OFF!!!

Beta lasts until the final product is released so no worries. I am disappointed as well because I am in the same situation. And it is quite bad on their part to announce it won't be released on the date they advertised. I agree fully.

The team are still hard at work on the Horizons beta, including yesterday and today (Sunday). A huge thanks to the team for this, and for those that sent us pizza. Unfortunately the issues last week have compressed the timescales, but the game is looking ever better. This has put the Tuesday beta release at risk, and though Tuesday is still theoretically possible, in all likelihood it will be in the following few days before we can release it.

LOL, like the rest of us....Would be great if Horizons Beta comes out before next Tuesday as I will be moving from Fallout 4 to Just Cause 3 :)

Three 12 hour days, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

By the time I get off on Monday, I will collapse for a day.

Maybe the servers will have recovered by then. :)

Thanks for that Kylby, great to hear it'll last until the full launch. I'm just disappointed it's delayed, because I only found out when I tried to find the file(s) to download and couldn't. So I came here to see why it wasn't available and noticed the thread about the Beta Update and it seems that it was only announced after 10pm last night, which didn't seem very fair. "I now belief it was announced two days ago, which isn't so bad."

Anyway, there's pretty much he ha we can do about it, so we're just going to have to wait.... As someone side "I've waited 30 years for a sim like this, so a few more days wont really matter"

It's Amazing what we can do in Elite-D from a Galaxy perspective and the Landing on Planets side of it, is going to be a Fantastic addition to that Galaxy.... and thank you to all the devs for that.

I just wanted to be playing it from now till Fri morning, thats all!!! I'd planned it all out "in my head" but didn't see the possibility of a delay. I should know better, when it comes to game & beta releases in general.

They announced it 6 days ago that beta might be late, and yesterday morning (more like sunday night) announced that it probably is going to miss Tuesday deadline. And monday night confirmed it will be late. They couldn't confirm earlier because they didn't know - i'm sure it is day to day situation. They will know when it is ready when it is ready. :)

I'm fine with delay. I'm sure devs are hard at work.

ugh always hate delays but hey if it adds a bit of a polish thats good to be honest i notice many of the betas were a bit rough around the edges first coming out anyways :p.

Damn! Took the day off for the release 2 weeks ago lol!!!!!! Ill see if I can manage another day off when it actually comes out :-D Might unfortunately fall ill that day..... cough cough :p

Horizon beta is the unfinished version you test to sort out the last bugs and Horizons, the retail version cleared out of bugs for everyone to play with.
