General Hot Spot Audit Request

I would like to formally request Frontier Developers to audit the planetary rings hot spots. When you use the DSS and survey the rings with labeled, as X mineral/metal hot spot. When you enter the hot spot to mine, you find out those hot spots do not yield any ore or fragments matching the hot spot's mineral/metal type. Some false advertisement here.

This request is about game time QoL and improving in-game activities. I know that it is natural that other minerals/metals to be found alongside the mineral/metal hot spot BUT to not find a single ore or %fragment matching the hot spot type is wrong.

I hope this audit request of the code generating the hot spots can be reviewed and identify to resolution why 'x' hot spot does not yield a single ore or %fragment of 'x' type.

I am addressing this in general form. For instance, you enter a system and you survey a ringed planet that have hotspot points of interest. When you enter one of those points of interests that say Platinum Hot Spot (example) and while prospecting and mining asteroids only to find zero Platinum then how is that a Platinum hotspot?

I know there are online mining tools to find hotspots; but this audit request is about accurate in-game information. I simply feel that when you enter a hotspot with the intent to mine the hotspot's mineral than you should at least find the mineral. I do not feel this is an unreasonable request.

I get that, but my point still stands. If it's a Metallic Ring you can 'prospect' for Platinum and will find a lot more in a 'Platinum Hotspot'. If it's a 'Metal Rich' ring, then you need to 'Pulse Wave Scan' for the ones you then Core Mine. This latter is what I understood, but could be wrong. The Meta Rich ones could indeed be a complete lie (I've only Core Mined once and spent other times Surface Mining for lots of Platinum in Platinum Hotspots).
 
Platinum is an especially confusing one because:
- unlike most minables, it can be both core- and laser-mined
- unlike Bromellite (icy for both), the rings it appears in cores (Metal-rich) and laser-mining (Metallic) are different
- unlike Bromellite it's valuable enough that people try mining it in the first place
- Metallic rings are really narrow and relatively rare, so the chances are that any easily visible Platinum hotspot won't be in one
- no-one bothers core mining Platinum because as core minables go it's relatively low value.
 
One time I went to a Tritium HS and after 45 minutes I had more LTD than Tritium
I agree there is some type of false advertising there
However when I see somebody complaining they cannot find any platinum is always metal-rich ring
