How about an expensive tiny ship?

Small, fast, 1 large hard-point and completely unobstructed bubble canopy... I would pay for that

+1 on this, the OP and more ship varieties in general.

I don't mind if they are whole new ships or variants on existing.

E.g. the viper blockade runner, fast, low profile matte black finish, 1 mount, good armour and shields.

... Sidey scout, good jump range, great sensors, big fuel tank and built in scoop, zero cargo, with 'fast cool' stealth tech... and so on... and on...

Personally I think a small a to b ship for only travelling would be something that would be very nice.

I'd like a small profile stealth smuggler. Not a lot of cargo room but speed and a sleek profile to aid high profile smuggling. =P

Edit: Not to knock your idea at all, i think a higher tech small fighter ship would be a welcome addition. Was just adding my own want of a small expensive smuggling ship.

The Krait would fit that role perfectly. Sadly its not even planned for it to be in the game!

A proper flying saucer with a large domed canopy for a 360 view would be great for exploring.
I would love to see more ships and I don't think that they necessarily should have distinct roles. Variations on a theme would make things more interesting. Make it so

I agree with fixing up the Viper.
Mostly because I bought a ton of skins for it and now I don't even fly one.

It used to be a ship to be feared.
Love the gurgle of that engine, the sleek design, but now it seems of little use, as people grab a Hauler and skip straight past it in favor of the Multi-purpose Cobra.

I believe the Vulture has made the Viper obsolete.

For those that can afford to buy, equip and lose a Vulture - until that point the Viper has it's use.
