How did this guy make moving billboards?

I suspect its very clever video editing.

It looks like the entire wall os a billboard and its is simply that the wall texture is on the billboard and the video of the stretching portraits is part of that same billboard so when it plays it looks like its just the portrait moving.

yes - if you can find his thread on this he shows and explains the difficulty he had creating these and getting them to time perfectly.
