How do you feel about Elite today?

I had already been semi-retired from Elite as a whole since around Update 9, and haven't booted the game at all since Update 10. Got tired of the back and forth of updates breaking new things while not fixing the old. Update 11 being delayed twice didn't inspire confidence, but the console cancellation announcement frankly kind of put me off. If they are willing to be that cold to one part of their playerbase, who is to say they won't try to do something similar to the rest of us?

I kind of decided I didn't want to support the devs after the console announcement, because they sort of showed their true colours. I am fully aware that me quitting for the foreseeable future has zero impact on anything, but personally it didn't feel right to keep playing.

Guess that kinda qualified as a 10.

3 - I would love to do a little bit of ground combat but I struggle to stay alive half the time. Are there threat level 0-1 missions out there?

Were it not for the Buckyball Racing Club I might have said 8 (I'm not loving Odyssey and since update 9 settlements have been unplayable for me due to performance issues) but because of the racing scene and the ongoing engagement I've got from my involvement with the Magic 8 Ball Championship (which I'm doing in Horizons) I'm gonna give it a 3.

6 or 7. Still playing, but am starting to wonder why. I'm curious about the next update, but in a way dread it also (what will it break).

I feel like I've done everything there is and am at a point where it might make more sense to move on if there's nothing else in the pipeline. Truly bored of repeating the same old stuff at this stage.
This.

It's a 5 for me.

Reasons for this "bad" rating: To much grind, not much new to discover as explorer, unsatisfied with the ARX store (huge differences between how it looks in the store and how it is ingame, different sorting options, no color change options or even good color matches)
Hopes for Update 11 but fear of bugs and disappointment are also into account.

Don't like to say it, since I don't like it at my current employer, but Frontier should start with NPS (net promoter score) :/

2 (it would have been 1 if it were not for that questionable VR pancake mode). As for some reason, the game is able to create true friendship that also affects RL. Even though it didn't say so on the cover. And, I mean straight Odyssey in this case.

O7,
🙃

I wasn't aware we had Emoji based scale nowadays ! How fascinating ! I have so many questions !
-why are the face yellow in their "normal" state ? It's something I noticed with emoji, and I don't know why ! Any relation to the Simpsons ?
-is the color of the face important ? I notice it goes from yellow to red
-is it a decimal based system ?
-is it an open scale ?
-logarithmic progression or linear ?
-what's the unit name ?
-is it an international or local system ?

Also, the 2nd to last face look like someone who is really sick, and the last one is the same person in the toilet. Or someone who clearly need more fruits and water in its diet, also in the toilet. 2 issues that are almost certainly not related to Odyssey.

Since I never used the Emoji scale, I'll rely on the old "fun scale", which is measured in Fonzie. Considering it's a linear scale, going from 0 Fonzie (AKA sleeping or dead level of fun) to 100Fonzies "Jumping the shark" level of fun), I'm sitting on an average of 30-40 Fonzies. Which ironically, is also my average FPS in ground CZ. I don't think it's related, but I never did any experiment.

I do have peak of fun at times, reaching a solid 80Fonzis, which is good (and closer to pre Odyssey fps level).
