How does laser weaponry in game not blind the Commander?

I thought laser is a very focus and uniform light beam. It will only blind you if the laser aims directly onto your eyes. Looking at laser beam from sideway shouldn't blind you.

Why do bullets do no have infinite range and are not the deadliest weapon in space when you see that a small debrit can blow up entire station with some speed ?

Because it's a game !

We have lasers a fraction of the power in the real world that could blind you but how come weapons like the beam lasers and other laser weaponry in game not blind the commanders? Is there a lore reasoning?
lasers are extremely directional so they can blind you only if they are pointed exactly towards your eyes. In space you don't even see it until they hit your eyes.

I mean, if a multi cannon hits you in the eye, you are probably blind, too. At least.

The real question is why can we see the laser beams in space at all? Lasers are very focused light/energy beams that are only visible when they hit something (object, dust, vapor) and the light scatters.
In a vacuum they would be invisible.
this.

Once upon a time, I fell inside White Dwarf jetcone. While I was fumbling about (for quite a while I might add), my canopy cracked open and shield gen got wrecked too along with it. Somehow I jumped out, limped to the station and repaired. Not a scratch on my commander. These Remlok suits with helmets are something else, gotta say... And you wonder about puny lasers? Pretty sure direct hit would be reflected back at the source!

The real question is how commanders survive dropping in so close to a gigantic nuclear fission furnace. Lasers pale in comparison, have a single wavelength and nice straight vectors.
Edit: You got this answer several times before. It's all Narrativum and Implementabilitium really - to look at a star up close with your own eyes. How would lasers or projectiles in space have so limited range etc. etc.

I mean Lasers should do the same

So the lasers we see are just HUD projections
Oh I see what you mean, actually if anything the lasers should blind you without cockpit glass to filter them, but then maybe the remlock visor does the same thing.

Probably the exact same way you can literally be 'so close' to a star it fills your entire view and you don't even need sunglasses I suspect.

The filtering must be in the canopy glass, as although you can stare at high-powered lasers and nuclear furnaces all day long without risk, the dashboard of an Imperial Cutter will burn out your retinas in short order.
