Newcomer / Intro How many bookmarks can you have?

Does anyone know the maximum number of bookmarks (self-owned ones, not squadron ones, unless those cut into your allowance)?

Is it different for different levels, like system map bookmarks and galaxy map bookmarks? Or is there an overall limit?

I want to set up some new "groups" of bookmarks but don't want to delete all my old, disorganised ones yet until I'm happy with the way the new ones work.

Weirdly, it feels like I have more than that.

I thought they increased the capacity at some point? What was it before... 128?
