How many Crew?

I've not played this game since November really, and I don't think Multicrew holds much for me.

But what I will be doing is parking my turret boat, 2 fighter carrier Anaconda in a HazRez & every so often log on and let people join my crew.

I find it interesting what they'll do with crime though, can't have them shooting innocent ships! I think I'll have to go to an Anarchy HazRez just incase...

I believe they have stated that crew shares punishments... so if anyone on the ship commits a crime it applies to everyone onboard... e.g. shooting authority ships.
 
So what ships can be FUN turret boats to test out with a friend.

- Adder with top turret
- Cobra mkIV with X3 top turrets
- Python with X4 top turrets
- iClipper with X2 turret on the Nacelles

It will be interesting if Turrets in the hands of gunners can be efficient enough to overlook their lower damage potential.

But only the pilot takes the credit hit when killed by his own crew.
 
OP has 4 for the Anaconda because people are counting the chair in the "observation deck" but I am 99% sure this will be cosmetic only for some time yet or maybe forever, so I don't think it counts.

Re the Cutter, 777Driver remarks in another thread:

3 is the maximum on all large ships. Am wondering if they will increase to 4 with the Panther Clipper.

They also removed the 3rd seat on the Cutter for some reason, the display console at the back is still there.

So it seems that Cutter is 2 seats for the moment but perhaps they will add the 3rd back in 2.3.

I note the OP is listing visible bridge seats
Then we have a follow up with people worried that those with one seat on the bridge will not have multi creew but both the SLF and Gunny Cmdr need only Tele presence

A valid point and I have wondered if we are associating multi-crew with the seats in the cockpit when perhaps there might be no connection but why add the Commander Creator and the new camera at the same as Multi-Crew unless we can look over and see our crewmates in the bridge? I guess we will find out on Thursday's livestream.

My opinion is you are right about this, but there is a seat there, and it didn't feel right to completely ignore it. This is why I have labelled it as 'potentially' 4 crew. I don't see it coming into use though until FD add something else for the 4th crew member to actually do. Although they could allow 1 crew on turrets AND 2 crew in SLF. We can dream until more info comes in the live streams.

I thought this was odd. Multiple Cmdrs were saying it had 3 but when I was watching a YT video I could only make out 2 seats. That explains that. Seems like a very odd design change to make the Cutter have inferior crew capability compared to the T9, Beluga, Conda and Corvette. In which update did it change to 2 seats?

As far as I can tell it seems to have happened between the 2.1 beta and 2.1 live (which I believe coincided with the change from the regular seats to the Imperial seats). First thing I'm going to do in the beta is buy a Cutter and see if they've added a seat :)
