How many of you don't play anymore?

I don't play anymore ... Star Citizen has more content than this game and its not even complete!

But i do pop in here just to see people come terms with how empty this game is! I like the RAGE QUIT drama!

I don't suppose people could go back and edit their posts, and say if they played in open/solo.............not to go down THAT road again, but I am curious to see if the split of "leavers" is even, or more from one side or the other.....

If by content you mean pictures of ships....then yes, it does have more content.

My play time has gone up as FD have tweaked the game and added new stuff.

I play the real game, in open of course.

Once I was able to upgrade to an Asp and "A" grade the modules and put some beam lasers in the class 2 slots and 4 multi cannons in the others I stopped playing when interdicted. Blast first, THEN run like hell if it all goes bad.

But I digress,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, :D

Why do they have to leave a forum if they no longer play the game? The reasoning behind that is 'more' inexplicable. Are you only allowed on the forums with the game loaded, when is the cut off point? If I do not play for 6 months am I not allowed to post here?

The same reason I don't post in the forums of things I no longer participate in nor have an interest in perusing? Not saying you can't post here, just not sure why anyone would want to when you can keep tabs on development via the newsletters and general press in the media? Don't get me wrong, I'm not chasing you away with a pitchfork whilst shouting "This is a local forum for local people!", I just don't see the "why bother" of it.

Still going strong. I dont want to take a hiatus, because I will then come back and forgot everything...

Here's an example, I just installed and fire up my 2 years+ abandoned STO account yesterday. I found 2 lvl 50 Vice Admirals and 1 lvl 50 Klingon equivalent (Lt. Gen I think?), all with the best ships, weapons and gear available at the time I left.. I now remembered why I left, because I am literally out of stuff to do, I "beat" it... Now, I have no clue how to do anything or what my gear and crew stats do, especially since so much has been added and changed in the game. I guess if I want to fire it up again I can make a Romulan with the free slot they added to my account and learn everything again from lvl. 1.

I play while listening to music. The game is almost secondary to just relaxing and enjoying some music. That sounds like a criticism, but it isn't. I can't sit for long and listen to music while doing nothing else, the two things compliment each other very well.

I play solo. To be more precise, the ONLY reason I'm still playing is because it has a solo mode.

Haven't played for weeks. Given the lack of proper save and pause it's not the sort of game you can just pick up for an hour or so. Missions are a massive time commitment. I've got no interest in multi player and as all the game seems to be is a massive multi player arena with no other content I don't find it much fun. I realised I was playing for the sake of it as I backed it but, to be honest, I enjoy Elite on my Atari ST emulator more than this. I remember a quote from Ian Bell about Frontier. It was something like he'd heard David Braben had modelled the entire galaxy and he said if that was true then it was a great technical achievement. But it didn't necessarily make a fun game.
The forums, however, provide excellent entertainment!

Stopped playing 2-3 weeks ago, and even before that i had scaled down on the time spent in ED.

Extended my WT premium, and there are a few other upcoming games that have my interest.

I will of course revisit, probably in half a year or so. I couldn't even point a finger at what exactly i'm waiting for, but at the moment, the game simply doesn't grab me by the throat and makes me want to play.

In the meantime i keep checking this forum, much more as a reader than an active poster though.

I play all the time.

When I don't you'll know, because you will never see me around here again

I read the forums most days, and I look down at my HOTAS but rarely pick it up to play anymore. I was wondering who else is feeling a little let down and sad by what we have so far? I still have high hopes for the game and think that they will make it much better this year.

To all you that are feeling like I do, stay hopeful. There is still time but the clock is ticking

You can add me to the list of ones who don't play the game anymore. Haven't logged in for over 2 weeks now.
