I've been playing JWE for only a few months at the time of this post and I absolutely adore it and have spent at least $30 on it. I've played Planet Coaster as well and I just have to say that I love the dedication and amount of work the developers have put into these games. I know that Frontier has some big name games under their belt now and that updating, adding features and DLCs takes a lot of work but here is my list of what could make JWE one of the best creativity games ever.
1. Bigger maps
So I have noticed that there are too many dinosaurs in the park that I want to build and I've done research and looked at many pictures and I noticed one thing in particular, all of their parks only had 8-15 enclosures. I was planning on exhibiting 21 enclosures for my park and I realized I don't have the space. I think that all the maps in the main campaign and sandbox are much smaller than they appear. I think increasing map size would be a huge addition and would make not only me, but many other players very happy.
2. Aquatic DLC
I know almost everyone is waiting for the aquatic DLC in JWE and I don't blame them. I know that Frontier is working on many projects with other games and I don't want to pressure them into making a bad product, but I think it's time to add the DLC. This also goes along with larger maps because I lost a lot of space when making my Jurassic World. I do have ideas for how it could work as well. #1: Like the Aviary in the Return to Jurassic Park, the Jurassic World Lagoon could be one large building and include the Mosasaurus Feeding Show area, an underwater incubator as well as the Underwater Observatory in Jurassic World. #2: Similarly to Planet Coaster, we could have custom water levels or just a tab that says 'deep water' and depending on how big the player makes it, it could affect the Mosasaurus or other aquatic animal's comfort level.
3. More Jurassic World
Another thing I noticed is that there are 4 ranger jeep skins and 1 helicopter skin. I think a great addition to the game would be skins from not only Jurassic World, but also other canon games and shows to give players more variety. While there are plenty of buildings in JWE, they can get repetitive very quickly. I think adding more Jurassic World buildings could be a great update to the game, allowing players to have more unique areas of their park. For example, the Egg Spinner ride, Aquatic Park and Cretaceous Cruise attractions were all featured in Jurassic World but there are no buildings like that in JWE.
There are more minor things that I would like and I know these ideas have already been asked for many times and I don't expect them to happen but all I'm saying is the game is amazing, but it could be even better with these additions. I don't want to stress Frontier out because I know they have a lot of their plate but that is my list for making JWE even better.
