How to make this work?

I have an Oculus Rift S and Elite was just suddenly in my games list on the oculus launcher. I launched it from there and it worked perfectly, today when I tried again it didn't show up in my games list in oculus and I tried to launch it normally and I couldn't find out how it worked.

I have a Rift S as well but haven't had this happen to me yet. Did some poking around and the only real answer I've seen (not necessarily convenient) is to run a repair or full reinstall on the occulus app. Just a thought maybe before reinstall go into the beta settings on the oculus app and try restarting oculus headset..again just a thought.

The oculus launcher shows recently played games even if it can’t actually launch them. I have a feeling though that if the Elite launcher is already open it will launch from within oculus if you open it from the recents.

Not 100% on that but have had something similar happen to me in the past.
