How to rant properly in DD

Frankly, I feel rather sorry for the ranters and ragers. Can you imagine what their lives must be like if the slightest thing, be it imaginary or not, induces a grand mal seizure? Rather they take it out on the Forum than a physically present being! Some of us do not have the benefit of good genes or education. Although I realize this thread is meant in jest, the anguish that ranters experience is very real to them, legitimate or not. One cannot compare internal states and to immediately discount another's feelings simply because most view them as insane is well.....barbaric.

I understand that many of us want to defend Fdev; however, as a group entity, Frontier is far more insulated than the usual rager.

My Phd didn't work. My meds do though apparently.

I suspect most of us have in the past, the way we carry on, or at the least got a warning...
I know I have (and yes I was guilty as charged at the time).

Well, that thing bit me today so I had my rant locked. Although I specified that it wasn't an ad hominem attack. But I compared some game designers at FD to some of the juniors I work with.

This has crossed my mind. This is a niche game which attracts "niche" personalities.
Personally I adore freaks and oddballs. "Mainstream" and "Normalcy" is for stunted golems

i have plenty! i don't go really looking for them, but with few exceptions i receive them cheerfully and with sportmanship when they happen, no big deal. i speak out freely, moderators do their job, end of story. that's also feedback for me. the exceptions involve some darker aspects of forum moderation, but are just exceptions. and of course we learn with experience
