I'm having difficulty in setting up my Fleet Carrier to sell stuff. So I go into Commodity Trading, and then Manage Market.

I can set up the sellig price for my commodity, but I don't want to put it all up for sale. I have 20,000 units in stock but I want to sell only 2,000 units, and keep the rest for myself.

So where do I find the function for setting up the number of items for sale? The price setting window does not give that option...

You don't, there is no option, it is all or nothing.

If you have slightly more than say a T9 or cutter load, load into the ship what you want to keep and set a sell order to sell the surplus. Once sold, do not forget to cancel the sell order before returning stuff to the carrier, otherwise it will get sold as well.

Best done overnight/not playing.

Ah, right - thanks folks. Looks like I'm going to have to actually T9 the stuff to a port and sell it then, because it's Tritium - I can't afford to have all my supply purchased!

Appreciate the input, folks, and K Olley if that avatar is your dog, then I gotta say what a beauty! :D
