Yes how very dare they cater to both playstyles with the same weapons.
Except they arn't as those in open/pg can use all the guardian weapons where as those in solo can only use the fixed; in no way is this catering to both with the same weapons, solo guys cannot use the turrets.
Of course it is, I use the fixed ones in whatever mode I happen to choose. Fully catered to.
So can you use the turrets in solo? (as turrets, not in fixed forward mode.) If you can't then your choice is restricted.

The guardian stuffs been out months, and you only just realized this. Which makes me think you don't even play the game, let alone use guardian weps.
So this is just another lame excuse you've latched onto to throw your teddy bear around, that's why I think your opinions don't matter.
Thing is you don't know that they're MC only until you unlock them, I demand a mat/data refund!
You still have access to the gimballed weapons though.
Which is where you'd be wrong, I've done the guardian grind for a couple of the weapons ( fixed ) but got a bit burnt out with it before I got the stuff for turrets. Unlike the troll you think I am, I would not comment on a feature I haven't personally used.( I even said I kinda liked the sites, just not the amount of repetition required)
I had not realized they were multi-crew only, this was not made that clear when they were launched; if it was I would of complained then.

Lol, wow, a total lack of analysis is evident in this post.
Maybe I need to spell it out... That just because some players know little about one small aspect of the game, this doesn't mean that they don't play the game. Does it, now? That's a false conclusion. The player could easily just be doing one of the many, many other activities in the game, or just returned from a long exploration trip, etc...

I agree totally. I am only recently approaching the time to equip my new ship with the Guardian weapons having completed the Guardian grind long ago. I have looked at the weapons available and it does not state that the turreted versions needs to be in multi-crew for them to work as do some of the normal weapons.
This is an important error on the side of the poor programmers/admin of FD, however, nothing unusual as it seems to be the norm lately.
It is also a shame that some Cmdr's are not as understanding of the issues and are quick to make somewhat negative comments or in some cases accusations against the new players in the mix or as mentioned earlier players that are not as clued up as themselves instead of offering support to them to assist in their progress and enjoyment of the game.

This is the Guardian turrets we were discussing, but thanks for the info anyway.
It was all over the forum, I knew about it in February.
Bob is basically the biggest troll in the forums when it comes to guardian weapons,hes unlocked a few and thinks he an expert of some sort and likes to troll anyone who dares talk about them. As evidenced in this thread already.

Face it, not everyone's as upset about the video game as you are.
Search the forum for threads about guardian weps in Feb, this "surprise" information only came as a shock to the people so busy moaning they missed it till now.
