Newcomer / Intro Hyperspace dropout point

Hello everyone, hope this hasn't come up before (can't find mention of it).
So I'm dropping out of hyperspace into a binary star system, select the station I need but it's in orbit around the other star which takes a long time to supercruise to. Is there any way I can select the other star as the hyperspace dropout point? This behaviour doesn't seem to be random: I always drop out next to the wrong star
