I CANT GET INTO THE GAME HELP PLEASE

FWIW, I'm getting the same issue, and I'm running a GeForce RTX 2080. Something seems to be wrong with the detection of graphic cards/GPUs... Hopefully they replace the hard lock out of the game with a warning message you can bypass

I have 16 gb actually
Are you confusing RAM with memory on the graphics card? The standard 1050Ti came with 4Gb, and there are 3Gb, 2Gb and even 1Gb versions of the 1050.

That's why the 1050Ti is listed in the min specs - a non Ti 1050 doesn't have enough VRAM.

You're not running MSI Afterburner are you? If you are, try turning off the FPS Overlay.

I am not, but thanks for the suggestion!

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and unfortunately now there seems to be a DRM issue, and I'm locked out for 24 hours (I think that's what this e=88500006 thing is)... Not ideal, but hopefully just a temporary thing.

I have the same issue. So does my brother, and his laptop is way better than mine. Here are my specs (by the way PZ and JWE 1 run perfect, no problem, even with most, if not all, graphics on ultra. Just slightly slow):

Processor Information:
CPU Vendor: GenuineIntel
CPU Brand: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4600M CPU @ 2.90GHz
CPU Family: 0x6
CPU Model: 0x3c
CPU Stepping: 0x3
CPU Type: 0x0
Speed: 2893 Mhz
4 logical processors
2 physical processors
HyperThreading: Supported

Video Card:
Driver: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600
DirectX Driver Name: nvldumd.dll
Driver Version: 20.19.15.5058
DirectX Driver Version: 25.21.14.2531
Driver Date: 8 16 2018
OpenGL Version: 4.6
Desktop Color Depth: 32 bits per pixel
Monitor Refresh Rate: 60 Hz
DirectX Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 730M
VendorID: 0x10de
DeviceID: 0x1290

Storage:
Disk serial number hash: a0b7119b
Number of SSDs: 1
SSD sizes: 240G
Number of HDDs: 1

(I'm not good with technical stuff like this. Should I upgrade it? Or is it fine?)
Should we tag the CM's to check this? Or is it a possible bug in the programming?

That is miles below the minimum specification - integrated graphics is not supported. That's just a built in graphics capability on the motherboard or CPU which to be perfectly honest cannot run any graphically intensive game.

It's not a bug, your hardware is way below the minimum requirement unfortunately.

Ok, I suspected. The only way to fix it is by upgrading it, then?

Ok, thanks. I'm looking for a new graphics card (hopefully it isn't too pricey)
If you aren't technical - i'd be more careful with just replacing a GPU
You'll need to balance this with the rest of your hardware.

Your CPU is not up for the task as well, i knew it was an oldie but after a quick google result:
Intel Core i7-4600M is a high mid-range processor announced in Q2 of 2013

Playing a high requirements game with an 8 year old CPU, maybe you are lucky but I wouldn't count on it.

Hmm. Ok. Thanks, I appreciate that.

Fortunately my dad and uncle and 1 of my cousins know all this and can help. Otherwise, guess I'll have to return the game

Great.. Asking for help with such matters would be the smart thing to do - you will save yourselves some problems and probably spend your money more effective.

Be sure to check the steam requirements for refunding your game.

The GEFORCE GTX 965m Does support DX12 as far as I can see, but I'm not sure, so don't judge me on that, might as well be the processor and not the card.
What kind of CPU does your laptop have?

It supports "some" features of DX12 but the more advanced features like ray tracing and etc require a RTX level vid card. When you look at the list of DX12 features the lowest card that fully supports them is the RTX 1060, the min specs do specify a GTX 960 as a legacy card, so a 965m should do the job but at very low settings, but as already said, make sure you have the latest drivers as sometimes additional features are only supported in the latest version of the drivers. Update your drivers to the latest version then come back and let us know how it goes.

That's not correct. A 965m is not "better" than a 960, and will not support features the 960 will. The 960 is a desktop GPU, the 965m is a mobile gpu for laptops which generally has a low amount of VRAM (less than 4Gb) and reduced features to help with power handling. Just because it has a higher number, doesn't make it better.

I didn't say it was better, and I know what a mobile GPU is. It's not that they have "less ram", it's that they usually share system ram, so if you have a system with low system ram then the total overall amount of ram shared between the GPU and system may not be enough to run the game. It should however support all the DX12 features of the regular 960, so given a decent amount of system ram it may run the game. albeit very slowly. I used to run Elite Dangerous on my laptop with a 970m.

I think that's the (big) issue at this moment. I've already seen too many comments from people not knowing what their specs are. And bought JWE2 because they were able to play JWE (or PZ).
I think if you have clean/well organized pc and don't match 1 minimal requirement, there's a chance you'll be able to run the game (maybe more crashes and bugs)
But it's a gamble. People could buy it, try the game and refund the game within 2 playing hours if it doesn't work.
