I can't play the game from Steam.

I just bought the game on Steam, and I downloaded it.
But when I try to start it it just say "updating the game" and it start downloading again, after some minutes it say that the update is finished but when I try to start the game, it updates again!
Since I never really started the game I can ask for a refund but I don't want to cause I really want to try this game out!

Can someone help me please?
