Right on CMDR. In case you get in too much trouble though, you cannot combat log or trust your escape pod in RL... So i hope the wifeoid encounter goes well and you live to tell - its all about witchspace, ya know :p

Good news everyone!

Got home and found a cruise pamphlet on the coffee table. I asked her what this was about and she said she was planning a girls trip to the Bahamas. A half dozen of her girlfriends want to get together before one of them gets married next Spring.

"That sounds nice." Says I.

"I can't go." She says. "I spent all my mad money on the New York trip."

"Tell you what. I'll pay for the cruise, you deserve a break with your friends." I say, looking as sincere as I can.

"What, are you sure? That's wonderful! Thank you!" Hugs and kisses all around.

"No problem. Oh, by the way, I ordered a new computer part. Should be here in a couple of days."

"OK, I need to start making a list of what to take." Scuttles off to the bedroom.

Crisis averted. She can't say I didn't tell her. Mu-hahahahaha

Out of rep unfortunately but LOL, well played sir, absolute classic! I particulary like the phrase "new computer part" to describe something that costs about as much as a Cruise to the Bahamas (she's not reading this is she?).

I think Shadragon's wife will 'enforce' things when it arrives.. and his package may well be in serious danger. :p

Edit - LOL, well done! (I just use the bulldozer approach and weather the 'silent treatment' lavishly dished out when I do something 'disapproving')

@shadragon - We still expect a full report on its 90fps goodness (even if the police weren't involved).
