I Did Something Really Dumb but Frontier Helped Out

Accidently deleted my saved game. Didn't read the menu and deleted 300 million cr and all my ships :O

Lodged a ticket with FD support to see if they could restore my saved game. No problem, so big thank you to FD support.

Cautionary note for others - probably pays to read the log out menu even if you have done it a thousand times

Pro tip: If possible, make any option changes whilst within the game as the "Clear Save" option is then hidden.

We have asked from the very beginning that FD change this menu to make it hard to delete your save by accident but so far nothing has changed.
That said support is very good about helping you if needed.

Why is the career data stored on client in the first place in a MP game?

Id really like another savegame so i could see how the game feels from a fresh perspective but hate to lose my current save with all my assets gathered over the course of 2 years. Also im too cheap to by a 2nd account.
