Ships I just sold my reactive PvP Cutter

I just couldn't stand it any more

Yesterday I engineered it as a AX scout killer (https://s.orbis.zone/l8y0) but I couldn't stomach flying it in combat any more.

It was a hangar queen for 3+ years, never really saw PvP and now I got rid of it.
I reuse most of the modules for the Anaconda which will succeed it (more maneuverable, better distri, hardpoints, jumprange).
I also stored the G5 reinforced class 8 prismatics, the G5 dirty class 8 thrusters, and the G5 shielded class 7 FSD (in case of Panther Clipper),
but the G5 heavy duty reactive hull is gone, good riddance.
I'll only fly my other Cutter as a trader from now on.

Goodbye...

I'm just miffed I couldn't sell the hull to some other player, not because I want to make money but to spare someone some grind
for the engineering.
And I bet I get sellers remorse sooner or later because I usually operate on a "don't sell G5d modules" policy, but that baggage had to go.

Thank you for coming to my ted talk 🤷‍♂️

why?
you don't appear to be strapped for cash

when the cutter was first released, I bought and sold a couple before I decided to keep and learn how to maneuver it.
its more than useful and now I have quite a few.

if and when you get another, I would recommend a human distro. As it is, that is one of the weakest modules for the cutter a class 8 would be better, but as it is class 7.
the guardian one isn't good enough, especially if combat is the intent. for cargo hauler, it'll do.

more importantly is fdev needs to fix thrusters in Odyssey.
There is no other cargo hauler IMO worth using if you can use a cutter.
and it is deadly, as a hauler or a fighter and contrary to popular belief, is agile in the right hands. tbh this ship is designed to work very smoothly with FA off.

fwiw, as I own several, some for combat and some for cargo, they are all built A rated, the only thing that makes any a hauler is subbing out cargo racks and class 6 Prismatics shield for class8 prismatics and guardian shield reinforcement
as long range isn't its thing anyway, there is no reason to weaken it.

Why did you sell the g5 heavy duty reactive armour? If i may ask... are there any better alternatives? What was wrong? Very interested in it because i just bought a reactive armour for a krait mk2 and wanted to engineer it now. Should i not do that?

I wanted to get rid of it and prevent me from building that monstrosity again.

It's the best option for a combat vessel (except AX, where military is usually better), but I wanted it gone.

By all means use it on a Krait, I have 33 G5'd reactive armor on various vessels, 13 of them heavy duty, the rest lightweight.
Combined with a small class 1 thermal resistance HRP it gives you balanced resistances and very good absolute armor.

The guardian distro doesn't really perform bad in conjunction with a prismatic and mostly turret multicannons.
But it does offer 104% power output, which is great in such a power hungry setup.

True, except ist's not agile in my hands 🤪

My other Cutter Golden Arches has a c5 prismatic with a now unobtainable mass increase secondary effect for 752 tons of cargo.

You have shields on your cutter?
Here is the only cutter you will ever need. Perhaps change booster or add a scoop

(Ok... I do have a mining cutter)

That one doesn't survive a serious gank attempt imho, because the FSD is too vulnerable.

I've been writing and even making suggestions for years. IMPERIA has no warships except the Eagle.
But for some reason people did not believe me. The good thing is that over time people have learned to understand this.

P.S. I don't quite understand why not just put the hull in the warehouse? Might come in handy.
P.P.S. I also had a suggestion to let engineers disassemble modules with a partial return of materials.
