I suck at this game how can I get better please? I use to be really good at Simcity 5 which is weird

Here are a few quick tips.
1. play more - experience helps more than anything
2. scan the forums and see what others are doing. Its helps with ideas and also what is possible
3. ask for help with SPECIFIC things you may be struggling with. Generally everyone more experienced is more than willing to help
4. did I say play more? And experiment...it really did help me a lot.
Anything specific you need help wit? but be sure to ask in the 'how do i' thread.

I'm very discouraged
I build on simcity and the old rollercoaster tycoon games. I feel the camera is a fight. When i click on a piece of track nothing happens. I end up rotating until it finally grabs the part I want to modify. Sometimes clicking adds another section, instead of changing to the part I want to edit. Underground wooden coasters always crash. I've been playing since March 1st and I just stink! Everyone on social media video just sails right along. I'm hear 15 hours for one coaster to be just meh

Not really sure if this is the kind of answer you're looking for but what really helps me is to visit existing theme parks with Google Maps for inspiration. I always get plenty ideas by looking at the layout, buildings and coasters.
