Newcomer / Intro I want to get out!

Disappointed to find there is no exterior view so I can see how good my spaceship looks flying along.
How about when you have docked, can you get out and admire your vehicle, walk around and kick the tyres?
I am still playing the tutorials at the moment.

LOL same here, but not yet....soon to come apparently, I d like to see a bar so you cant have a drink with other players and chat - starwars style!!!!

Not only can you not get out and kick the tires(tyres) there are none to kick. All of the ships have skids I think.

While docked, go into the outfitters menu and you can get some looks at your ship. Be sure to check out the livery button.
