Horizons I want to name a station and call it home...

My biggest regret was missing the Kickstarter by days and not being able to name a station... My mum got sick recently and I wanted to name a station after her that I could call home. I just love the thought of seeing her name every time I come in to land. :)

Anyway, without wanting to get all sentimental this idea was touted by FDEv not so long ago but I haven't heard anything since. Sounds like a great way to add some extra revenue and would be the icing on the cake for me!

On stations, I'd love it if we were allowed to rent storage so long as we were "allied" with the ruling faction.

I remember seeing it late last year or early this year. I think it was a fundraiser for charity or something similar, but naming your own station was one of the things offered. I don't know what naming a station cost.

Yes it was the 24 hour charity livestream for special effect, they gave away a few blind auction prizes with stuff like naming stations/planets etc iirc.

When you see the nature of many CMDR names it is easy to imagine what would happen if station naming was possible.
Why should I see ridiculously named stations in my view of the galaxy that is shared by us all?

Om the other hand using the first name or combination of first and last name of a loved one is not a bad choice.
