First of all, you will need to tell us WHERE YOU ARE!
Scratch that - first question is Odyssey or Horizons?
Third, you'll need someone to help you setting up instancing - just because you are there doesn't mean that you will be able to see anyone else who is there.
And finally, if you want the good SRV racers to join in and make this an event, I'd suggest to give it a bit more time for the annoucement and (since you seem to be intent on a live race - maybe contact the Elite Racers (r/eliteracers) - they have people experienced in these kinds of things.
On the other hand, if you just want to have fun now, just keep on. Maybe someone will show up.
