It's a freaking staple of the fps genre to have a crappy melee weapon for stealth TDs or if you're out of ammo...

Unless you are Warframe where after many years of Updating, Balancing, Breaking and Rebalancing you end with a System where:

• Rifles are completely pontless and just cosmetic
• Pistols are the strongest Snipers
• Melee Weapons are so strong, that you can finish Missions by just pressing a single Button. Really, not even WASD for moving, just the "WHACK" Button is enough.
