Punished Mobius does not actually have an eyepatch...For some reason they do not exist in the Elite Dangerous universe...However Paul M (that's me) does.

But back to the eye patch issue. Perhaps I could set up Tiers for them to achieve like in a CG. Like if they unlock just 2 modules I will eat a leather eye patch dipped in steak sauce or something. If they get halfway I will eat another one with no sauce if they complete the challenge I will eat one with metal studs in it and smile.

I play in open nearly every day, and have for the duration. There has never been a period of more than a few days where I haven't since I began playing ED.

Who says devs don't do it? Those who play ED that is. Not all devs will. There are only a few who make design decisions, so really what it boils down to is one to three decision makers, who may or may not have done it yet, or maybe plan to do it, when they get round to it, or maybe they have already.
Its not like FD are going to stream themselves doing it.

It's a good topic, but one that has no positive outcome for FD. Other than expressing the intent to fully revamp of the current mechanic, it's a lost cause for them to participate in this.
What do you wish to be discussed? We would like to see a very senior decision maker play out repetitive mechanics in real time, to confirm that there might be possible things in gameplay/design philosophy that need to be changed.
Realistically speaking that's not going to happen.

So basically this thread is doomed to go round and round in circles until someone steps over the line or it goes off topic too much, and then it will be locked.
