If someone from Fdev streams themselves unlocking all the Guardian tech. I will eat my eye patch.

Quite a few, but Community Managers can't give an answer when there is no good answer. All they can do is rely what devs tell them - and if devs have nothing to tell, go figure.

I've been through 4 moves in 3 different UK companies, and they barely take 10 minutes of your time as employee.
On last day at last place (usually friday) you get crate at your desk - you put your things into it. Next week you come to new workplace and your stuff is already here, your IT kit is set up and you ready to go (with only minor hiccups sometimes).

Saying that "office move" prevents normal functioning of a company for weeks, would be *highly* unusual.

I've worked for companies where the Christmas do seating plan caused months of drama the likes of which even god has never seen, you never really know till you see from the inside.

Of course, there are sloppy ones that unable to organise an office move.
It would be a shame if FDev is one of such.

Well, what did you expect? ;)
Its not like there suddenly will be any deep change just because somebody rightfully pointed some bad aspects on forum. It was going on for years for crying out loud.

FDev only replies (or post at all anyway) if the reply/post will be like a "good PR", even if admitting the bug to say "we have this new awesome fix and it will be great this time". If there is no such good PR at all, they won't acknowledge it even and just pretend they are genuinely not noticing, just because its nothing to notice and game has flaws but still mostly great, m'kay?

Yea i know but this behavior of ignoring the community, is a slap in the face of us. But cash cows dont live forevah.

A fully charged shot does 45.9 damage (17 * 2.7). A medium UNENGINEERED PA does 54.3 damage.

That's why I'm saying it's a good multirole though - ordinary PA won't scratch a Thargoid - also don't dismiss the "small" shots - I regularly ping scouts with a quick shot from the Guardian plasma and it can take 10 or 20% health of them - this can be a lot more effective in a furball of 4-8 mauraders where you want to thin them out fast.
In fact I'd only really want to use "normal" Plasma weapons against medium to large ships, the Guardian ones are just as good if not better on small craft - I at least would have a hard time clearing mauraders with regular PA.
Works best for me when mounted in pairs on the Python or Cobra, single works well on an Imperial Eagle.
As for NPC's I find the rank makes little or no differance against any weapon - yes the higher levels might have better gear, but I've had unshielded elite npc's many a time - so luck of the draw as much as anything.

The chieftain works well with three plasma chargers, and with three rails in the class 1 slots you can use them to quickly spike your heat and burn off the caustic effect.

I find it better to avoid getting the caustic effect as much as possible and using the occasional limpet to repair as and when I do get caught with it - usually from the exploding remains in a big fight.

The chieftains not so big on utility slots, so point defences are limited or non existent (on mine anyway). I also tend to go in at them at point blank so caustic explosion damage is just a normal part of the fight. With plasma chargers you kill them so quickly it's not really an issue over time and I just clear it with heat when scooping the mats. The chieftains low price tag means it's less expensive than ammo as well which you waste at longer ranges.

I'd go at it differently in something more expensive.

What system are you hunting in ? the missions have dried up where I am.

Deneb Algedi - I haven't been bothering with missions - just like popping the scouts - few pro xeno players about as well, so keeps things interesting.
Got popped by an FDL earlier as I made the mistake of hanging about to see how well I could hold up in the Python against him. As ever a good mutlirole can run away from a pvp fight, but standing your ground isn't the best move :p

Rep for the location, I don't bother with open in an anti-Thargoid loadout. It's a fun mode at what it does, but not all the time.

So this thread seems to have lots of pages about all sorts of topics. I don't see many regarding the consumption of eye patches. Has the challenge been accepted yet?

I also have an eye patch that I would be willing to donate to the cause. I think I'd let my dog eat it though, he's always trying.

No, and it likely won't be accepted. Frontier knows full well how long and boring such a stream would be. The optics would be terrible.

Honestly, a player should do the challenge just to show how bad it truly is. Imagine the publicity it could get...

Any volunteers?

So Stigbob will have to do a clean save?
That's a sacrifice I am willing to make.

That would reset current guardian unlock progress and invalidate the science already conducted. You can do a peer review of my timings if you dare face the sentinels in combat.
