If someone from Fdev streams themselves unlocking all the Guardian tech. I will eat my eye patch.

This - exactly the same happened with our move as well. We moved all IT services and servers (and upgraded our old infrastructure to something in this century), triple redundancy, a ton of new PC's and software systems plus a windows upgrade and over the weekend, people just turned up at their new desks on the Monday and oh look, magic!
That's because no (sane/rational/efficient) company actually does move themselves, and this was for decades.
All they do is hire "corporate movers" - and these guys handle the rest and they know their stuff.

From what I hear people are imagining almost the employees carrying office tables downstreet themselves ;)

You have proven nothing. And you have nothing to provide except for your logs. Which you seem to be unwilling to do despite being asked very nicely some time ago... So don't play that angle either. I'm sorry if you are so thin skinned as to see me calling you on your biowaste in this situation as a personal attack. But if you want to help than help. Post the logs because there is nothing of value in screenshots or your stories. And you know that.

People who obfuscate that much usualy get on ignore lists because they won't answer the question but keep on providing replies that aren't worth reading.

About half an hour per loop, including relogging and dealing with the sentinels, and shooting the structure panels. Their attacks which bounce the SRV around can really increase the time for each run.

Sorry, but relogging? That's not the game design so you can't do that. To play the content, as designed, no relogging is allowed if a proper test is to be made so go back and do them all again :p

How long would that take, roughly?

The line "FD are moving" was popping up so much I did have this impression.

Reloggings not necessary, you can do it if you like though.

These are the confirmed numbers for min-maxing :

25 minutes to the region (about 1000 ly)
5 minutes in SC to planet
5 minutes aerial survey to learn pylon locations
15 minutes change of location wep/mod structures
10 minutes per data run (this is over the top 6-8 is closer) 22 times 220 minutes total
25 minutes return

295 minutes a little less than 5 hours for the lot.

That's if you relog, otherwise it's two or three blueprints an hour. So a couple of hours for a weapon is accurate (and fine that's how I did it).

Which is good yes. It means they won't develop any more rubbish grind mechanics like that will they. Hopefully they will think of a new way to push the guardian/thargoid story forward.

I don't think it's going to happen - just look at this thread from 2014

https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php/69700-The-Truth-About-Elite-(not-a-Bash-post)

Notice also how many of the posters don't post here anymore

And anyone using it associates themselves with "not having a clue".

The things mentioned:
Grouping in open play - Ability to team up with friends and explore trade or do what ever together in open play
This is in

NPC wingman - Gives you the ability to hire protection if you don't have the option of defending yourself
We know they plan to add this in when the NPC comms system comes out which they have talked about a few times. So coming in the future.

More Ships - Speaks for itself
Already had one this year, will have at least one more soon.

Dev injected events
Apart from the thargoid war/guardian stuff, doesn't seem to happen unless we add community goals to that.

Different mission arcs - Mainly the ability to deliver passengers
We have passanger missions.

So it seems a lot of that is in or coming. Not too sure what the issue is.

And when prey-tell do you propose to get the 47 epsilon pattern obelisk data, 27 alpha pattern obelisk data or the twenty two units of mission reward only cargo (at the mercy of RNG spawns) in this 5 hour speed run?

Stop it, this is about feelings rather than facts.

As I unlocked things the thread changed what it was complaining about as I systematically proved them all wrong, it's boiled down to only the guardian data is an issue over the last 90 pages.

That being said I did the Ram Tah ruins mission months ago, so no worries there. There are also active obelisks scattered around the structures so you can do it as you go (if you need to).

Edit : 100 pages not 90 lol.

Yes I know they're in and they're depressing lol - that was my point! Look at what's happened over the last 3 years from that thread. Look what we got and how shallow it is.

It's a lot less of a pain than any of the big three, and the payoffs better IMO. People measure time in RES sites by millions per hour, just spend a few on this instead if you want.

I don't own any of the big three, because I despise the stilly rank grind. I may just get a Conda when I start playing the game again.

That's a matter of opinion. I like passanger missions and winging up is fine too, done that a number times and had great fun. Whats depressing about that. Whats depressing about more ships?

Sorry Jex, but I am not getting it.

As to the shallowness of it, I can see where your coming from and hope they fix it in the future. It wouldn't take that much to do either. The depth is there, it's just not being used in a good way and it isn't very visible which is frustrating.

You flew to different sites, 20 times?

Yes, apart from a couple of times where I logged out to sleep and therefore the next morning did the same site as the one I did the night before. But generally the way I played was to land at a site, do what's needed to get the blueprint, materials and data, killing all the sentinels in the meantime, then leaving the site to jump to a different system with a Guardian site. Also if I jumped into a system I hadn't scanned I would scan all the objects as that's how I like to play.

It didn't mean that I didn't return to a previous site, as I only know of 5 systems that give you module blueprints (there could be more?) but for me personally I don't like re-logging to play the game (unless I have a network connection error of course).

I did it in a similar way, but tried relogging as well to get the accurate numbers for that method as min-maxing is what the thread seemed to want.

Issue is that that's ridiculously slow development pace for 3 years timespan.
