If someone from Fdev streams themselves unlocking all the Guardian tech. I will eat my eye patch.

Guys any official responce about the stream? I havent read the latest pages but if not, it is getting really frustrating, as it is 30+ pages.
We had responce much sooner on older threads created by some specific "groups".

Do we have to gank people to get a responce and a date for the stream? Jeezzz....

This is outright nonsense of course and I can say that because all I need to do is point to game like GTA or any other driving game that manages to do it. So it seems that ETS lack the skill to make it happen rather than, incorrectly, it can't happen unless ETS has some kind of magic spell cast on it that doesn't allow AI cars to work. GTA has hundreds of AI pedestrians too and the AI cars have different behaviours.

So not all devs know how to do everything.

Euro Truck Simulator has no official multiplayer. The multiplayer server is ran, and was built by random guys from their spare time. It has no official support and has nothing to do with the developers of the game.

Heh, IIRC, i was in the camp of wait and see rather than declaring it to be bad or good in advance.

And yeah, i remember the discussions in PvP circles as well, i am a member of two PvP groups, plus i do read the PvP sub-forum, and the suggestion sub-forum. So i saw the full range of comments.

As for getting to me, nah, just annoying. I've been collecting materials while out exploring, just in Colonia at the moment dropping into signal sources and planetary stuff for a week, then ill head back to the bubble and star work on the ships.

I might be annoyed with it, but it is what it is, and i'll deal with it. In a few weeks ill have my new fleet more or less kitted out to my satisfaction and can get back to other things... such as taking a look at the guardian stuff. Maybe by that point all this whining on the forums will have got FD to make things a bit easier :D

I had a go at doing this this afternoon for the FSD booster when it gets added back in the game. Sheesh, this gets old quickly doesn’t it! It's taken me several hours to do just 3 runs for three Blueprint segments... Another 5 to go!

This is crazy repetition for the sake of it! I'm not going to do anymore until I know that the FSD booster is going to be added back into the game. Then it will be a case of grit my teeth through another 5 repeats!

Thanks FDEV. Yet again you have excelled at adding to the grind just to mess with the player base!

So unimpressed.

However, in the case of a thread like this, a challenge to the devs, i understand 100% why they won't get involved. There is another thread around here discussing the issue of the guardian grind in a slightly more constructive manner and a lot less childlike in demands.

I get what you're saying AA, but I'd also argue part of the less constructive posting is a result of Frontier silence
When you look at the other topic, it's 40 pages and mostly constructive, yet radio silence from FD. I don't condone it, but you can see where the anger starts to come from when long running constructive feedback gets no acknowledgement.

Exactly, they have essentially one of the best communities in the gaming world. Just look at all the 3rd party tools and websites that players create on their own free will - the constant feedback they get, yet readily just ignore and instead opt out to release bogus content like this, where it's just a blatant damn grind. That eventually will lead to a community raging. It doesn't help that updates have been consistently broken. It's only so much a player-base can take until we need a response from the lead game designer - whose been missing for quite some time.

I wish they'd just make their intentions clear. If Farmville-style grind mechanics are just their thing and they don't want to deviate from that (despite their promo videos), a brief comment would be helpful. Those hoping for more would know its time to put up or uninstall.

The endless silence while serving up more grind, it's infuriating. At least when Brookes was around you'd get the odd clarification or nudge. It was helpful and at least people knew that someone had an eye on things.

Have to agree.

I think they may add slightly the Guardians in 3.1 and 3.2, but it'll probs be only drips of content.

I think the Q4 update is going to coincide with the rumoured "Paid" content that'll likely also be released during Q4.

If Q4 doesn't add more depth to this game (like a mount everest amount of content), I don't see it lasting.

Eh, but its been the same thing for years. I.V drip and throw just enough to keep people interested. Well. Most people. I'm happy to say I've been Elite free for a few months now. I peek in here to poke the bear and see if anything has happened.
