I guess you must be clueless to all the stuff that hasn't worked on release - most company's have a few bug - FDev release when Beta ispointing out bugs just so they can get it out the door.

Yeah, that was me expressing MY opinion. I’m allowed to do that, as you pointed out.
That is not what I said. Some stuff isn't working and has been removed (stuff that I would call minor myself, but that is my opinion), agreed, but the vast majority of it seems to be working perfectly fine. I.e 3.0 was not broken. If it was nothing would be working.
Yes possibly. I haven't disagreed with that have I. Or it could be that they decided to release as they didn't see the bug as game breaking and fix it later. I don't know which is true.
Yes you can, but when it gets pointed out that your opinion is provably incorrect (just look at my recent post history for critisisms of the game) maybe it would be wise to change that opinion, yes.
If not all you are doing is lying to yourself and to others. Ignorance is not an excuse.
Also when you start having opinions about people, maybe you should try backing that up with some facts.

Same here, but I'm almost sure it will be a new disappointment as it was with all the updates so far.
If you've ground all the fun out of this game take a break, there's plenty of other games out there.
You don't need it all unlocked right now, just chill out a bit. Do one of them then do something else. You could even unlock one thing then go have fun with it for a while. It's the same with standard engineers, if you try to max G5 a fleet in one herculean effort it's not going to be any fun and you won't notice the difference the upgrades make.
Upgrades are intended to improve playing the game, not replace it.
As far as I know there isn't one. The only way to mitigate the grind on this one is to do the mechanic once and then come back at a later time to do the exact same thing again, which in my mind isn't really acceptable gameplay.
Given the history of each update and how buggy or unfinished they've been, I'd say they just want the stuff done and then they'll work on it "later"
This all would’ve been sorted out if they would just let us play-test the “mysterious things” in beta. Preventing spoilers is all well and good, but when it leads to incidents like this, it really is ridiculous.
Pretty sure I did that a page or so ago, but whatever.

If you don't like ED don't just sit there moping, play something you do like.
The game's four years old now the basic foundations wont change at all at this late stage, DLC/patches/expansions will probably happen but the games foundation itself won't change. If there's some imaginary version of ED you've been holding out for (like open only no RNG or rescue the princess) it's probably a few years overdue realizing that ED is what it is.
