If the T-9 is getting a buff...

That isn't how balance works.

Just because a ship that wasn't very good got an improvement doesn't mean ships that are best in class get an improvement too.

Well the FAS just isn't very good anymore. Compared to the Chieftain and FDL it is a joke. The T-9 was good, but just for its price point. Now its pretty silly how good it is for its price.

No, it really isn't. The beta T9 seems just about perfect now.

Never thought I'd see T9 envy in the community!

I expect the FAS to be inferior to the FDL, since it's less than half the price. I don't think it's a "joke" compared to the Chieftain, though. The Chieftain has some major drawbacks, like the terrible lateral drift and low top speed.

Well, you're certainly living in an alternate reality.

The FAS is better than the Chieftain in every conceivable way.

The FAS is one ugly looking ship compared to the Chieftain. At least give the Chiefy that.

What do you mean the FAS is ugly?

I could be mistaken, but the FAS and FDL are both PvP meta ships.

As a proud Corvette owner I unfortunately have to disagree. I've long thought that having two huge hardpoints didn't make up for lower shield and Hull strength plus slower top speed. However the Imps just got hit hard if the T9 just became the trade king. Let them grieve before we go looking for buffs.

Can the FAS and Corvette get them then?

Please, stop that.
While you might judge these ships to not be to your liking that doesn't mean they aren't balanced.
T-9 was an obvious buff because it is supposed to be the biggest trade ship and is severely lacking behind in the 'trading' department, that's now fixed.

It's still a crippled sloth, with terrible manouvering and beyond atrocious jump range, whose only single strenght is (now) being (almost) the king of big haul (nearly) overtaking what were supposed to be military vessels at this single role.

It din't became silly good, it's just not silly bad anymore. It became great at the single task it was meant to be great, and it's balanced by having a lot of serious drawbacks.

Says who FD literally said in a live stream we were getting bigger traders than the T-9 during Horizons. Aka the Cutter. If that changed, so can these two ships.

Well, it didn't really change. The Cutter can still hold more than the T-9.

The T line of ships are dedicated trader ships, cutter is still better in my book even now, but it makes more sense that T-9 has nearing as much as the cutter if not more, as for why I say supposed, 'supposed' because of the change, why else would they change it if they didn't mean it had to little cargo?

And the Corvette is 'supposed' to be a long range patrol ship too.
