If the T-9 is getting a buff...

Are they adding another module or upgrading the existing ones?
It would be nice if it could take 600 it is a dedicated trader after all and it is a very large ship.

And the Corvette is 'supposed' to be a long range patrol ship too.

And it isn't?

long range patrol would at least in my book, mean it can go unsupported and alone for quite a while, not that it has a long jump range, because you can't patrol places you skip past?

What have they added to the T9?

As a result of Collector limpets being odd sizes, I seem to recall that my T9 miner isn't quite optimal - I have to stick a C5 Collector in a C6 slot IIRC.

If they've given it an extra slot, or turned one of the even-sized slots into an odd-sized slot, it'd make me happy.

*EDIT*

Regarding Fed' ships, I get the impression that they have a low jump-range as a result of some kind of Fed' doctrine.
Presumably, they're all about patrolling their own territory rather than travelling.

Sure, but only if the cutter and clipper can get a buff. And how about they python and anaconda while you're at it!

Just combine them all and give us the Panther Clipper with a magic hull, Cutter speed and shielding, plus huge hardpoints and manueverability like the Corvette... Oh and of course, access to medium landing pads like the Python.

Yes! Reduce the Annie hull mass by 400 tonnes, and whilst they are at it, increase the Cutter boost speed to 900 m/s ;-) Seems fair to me.

Neither the FAS nor Corvette need a buff.. They are already popular combat ships, the FAS being pretty meta.

Buffing an already powerful ship is proven to be a bad idea *remembers the days when the FDL wasn't ridiculously OP*.

T-9 didn't need any buffs, but I don't feel this is particularly game breaking. Might be, if we ever get a working economy, but what are the chances of that...

Can the FAS and Corvette get them then?

No.

It has the lowest jump range of all ships!

That makes it one of the slowest ships.

It's still got a huge number of internals and can remain as self-sufficient as a ship can get while still being respectably armed and protected.
