Incorrect resting heat

Im in the middle of building a cool running minerconda.

The above build is doable just want to know the correct resting temp ?
46% in coriolis is wrong cos l have this ship 3/4 built ans its already as low as 27%.
Edsy doesnt list sub surface so cant use that.
Any guesses or help appreciated.

Hi. Your resting temp, with only your power plant generating heat, should be:

Resting Heat = Sqrt(Thermal Load/Heat Capacity/Cooling Coefficient)

Where,
Thermal Load = Power Consumed x PP efficiency
Cooling Coefficient = Coefficient from the ship’s cooling rate formula.

I don’t have an Anaconda so I’m not too sure about it’s thermal properties, but I think it’s Heat Capacity is 493, and it’s cooling coefficient is probably 0.3 (same as a Corvette).

Since your power plant is outputting 30.56 MW (with hard points deployed) with an efficiency of .126, that makes your Thermal Load 3.85.

So your resting heat would be...16.135%

Wowser, love the maths.

I would havw stuck a finger in the air and said right side of 20.

I read elsewhere that EDShipyard was more accurate for these details...
I don't know if this is correct as I dislike the interface, so avoid it :)
