News Info on Beta and access

Michael yesterday said they have hit release bugs during weekend testing, therefore no release yesterday. There's no information about release happening today or tomorrow at this point, sorry.

Seems like a Friday evening release at this point then.

I wonder.. if the limit date for alpha is 25 april.. it seem logic that the alpha 4 be soon.. this week or next week hopefully. I did some overtime at the job which enable me to join the party in sooner. But i am still waiting for that damn Saitek X-55 HOTAS.. at least i have a Logitech Extreme 3D for now...

The Premium Beta effectively starts today, with Premium Beta players able to download a single player combat build of the game. The full Premium Beta will start on 30 May 2014, and until then, players will be able to practice with the single player combat build.

"The Alpha process has worked well for us. We have gradually built out the key elements of the game, first locally, with single player combat, then with a few thousand players across the internet. On 30 May, the Premium Beta extends this to many thousands of players worldwide, with an increasingly rich game."

30th May for Premium Beta Multiplayer with single player available today - excellent! That's five weeks of Alpha after the purchase cutoff.

Must add "very soon" to the list of known time related euphemisms that Michael uses.... Apparently it can be interpreted as "imminent".

IMO this probably means no Alpha 4.0 this week, as they will be kept busy with all the Beta players trying to get their single player combat going today.

Yeah, that's what i'm thinking. I'm pretty sure we wont see Alpha 4 before the end of the month. At the earliest.
