I used to be a big fan of Steam, my account got hacked, I reported it and when I got it back all my games were gone.
Phoned a helpline and they insisted I had no games attached to my account even though my profile showed hundreds of hours playing games AND a bunch of achievements in a variety of games.
Next day I checked back and my Steam profile had been reset too, removing all my hours of play and achievements that supported my claim I owned a bunch of games.
Fortunately, I had before & after screenshots, which I included in the email to Gabe Newell.
Never did hear back from him.
