Interesting point of view from a long time ED Streamer on Fleet Carriers

I am on now, and can't guarantee I can be on @ 7:00 utc. I can find LHS 3006 easy enough. I agreed to this farce, let's get it done.

P.S. I am in an Alliance Chieftain.
Put me on your friend list. I will come online when I can. Maybe earlier. I will fly a chieftain as well. Good luck

I wrote down what was the point of it in a reply to the guy that actually took the challenge. In case you missed it and not just failed to understand it.

With a game that has so many facets, I fail to see how your potentially beating me in one single facet, really does display your mastery of the games mechanics on the whole. But, I will indulge your invitation to prove my point.

It's worse. Beating you is supposed to prove how Open Only BGS/PP is how things should be.

I know, I know. After my inevitable defeat, when the debate rages on, I wonder if the point will sink in. Then I wonder, if I win, will Cent, all of a sudden, go all CareBear?

No you didn't.

Show me.
I sure did, but anyways...if there are things in this game that I can do and you can't, it means I know the game better than you. My deeper knowledge of the game and it's mechanics weight more in an argument about the game. For example your alleged superior talking skills would matter not in an argument about quantum physics if you're talking with a trained scientist of said field unless you are one as well. If all you do in elite is being a hobo with a T6 it is pretty obvious I have gotten farther than you. So there you go.

If you lose, obviously what you have to say will no longer matter ever again, we will no longer respect your opinions and you will be forever deemed wrong on all subjects.

If you win though, you will become the new Lord of Truth, your word will be gospel and written in tablets.

Your now undisputed prowess at playing with toy spaceships will grant you a call from David Braben himself to set up a meeting so you can present him your roadmap and vision for the game, so he can pass it on to the devs and make it so.

I have lost countless fights in elite. It made me not log in solo, it made me a better pilot learning from my mistakes and from advices I got from the pilots that beat me.

Hooey. This is pure ego puffing. If you were such a master you'd aknowledge that our level of Engineering has way more bearing on the Win/Lose outcome than what ship we're in, or who flies better. You might even recognize that combat is just one sliver of what this game offers, and realize that those that may focus elsewhere know as much about the game as you. But this is not possible with your single-minded focus on pew-pew.

If the argument had been about PvP, you'd be right.

Unfortunately it isn't. So you're wrong.
